On 17th June 2026, peacefully at Redwood Care Centre in her 94th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Doug; mother to Kevin, Barry, Trevor, Debbie and Dianne and mother-in-law to Robin, Anne and Lisa; wonderful granny, great granny and great great granny to so many. Cherished twin sister of Colleen and her other siblings. Aunty to many and a friend to so many lovely people.

You will be treasured in our hearts forever. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Redwood Care Centre for their care of Mary and the support shown to the family.

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at 1 Fearon Street, Seddon at 1:00pm, on Saturday 20th June followed by a private cremation.

It’s hard to be sad for too long when you’re thinking about someone who spent 94 years making people smile.
Mary was truly one of a kind—sharp, incredibly funny, and always ready with a witty comeback or a mischievous grin.
We always enjoyed catching up with you over the years and remember with great fondness our holidays spent at the Korpara and Nelson Creek.
